RYA training and Club courses

Sailing is great fun, its exciting and very safe. Its great sport that the whole family can enjoy in the beautiful setting of the Roswell pits SSSI.

We offer a hugh variety of training opportunities. We teach children and adults who need to learn the basics. Anyone taking a RYA course for the first time will be given free membership for the season and the the fee will also cover the provision of a buoyancy aid. Our facilities, equipment and procedures are annually inspected by the RYA (Royal Yachting Association). A rescue safety boat is always on the water during sessions to lend a helping hand when needed.

More experienced sailors can take advantage of the race training offered every month by our race coaches. Evening shore based theory and on the water race training sessions are available to both adult and children in separated groups. Our coaches are fully qualified and experienced. Perhaps, most importantly, we are a very friendly family oriented club, and you will have great fun.
